July 7-28 'Parent College Admission Academy' Opens... First 30 Applicants Accepted... Provides Admission Outlook, Understanding Early and Regular Admission, and Strategies for Comprehensive Student Records Preparation

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Yeongdeungpo-gu (Mayor Chae Hyun-il) will open the 7th session of the 'Parents' College Admission Academy' on July 7.
The 'Open Education, Parents' College Admission Academy' invites college admission strategy experts to introduce the overall university entrance examination system, helping students and parents successfully plan their college admission strategies?from establishing strategies according to each university's admission guidelines to preparing for comprehensive student records evaluation.
Since its first operation in 2019, the College Admission Academy, now preparing for its 7th session, has provided parents with high-quality and diverse college admission know-how free of charge each time, resulting in high satisfaction among local parents as well as positive effects on improving admission rates and strengthening public education.
The 7th session will be held from July 7 to 28, once a week, consisting of a total of 4 sessions. It will take place for 2 hours from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM in the large lecture hall on the 1st floor of the Self-Directed Learning Center, Building G, Annex of Yeongdeungpo-gu Office.
▲ The 1st session covers understanding and prospects of the admission system and college entrance environment ▲ The 2nd session covers early admission and student record-based admission, as well as essay admission ▲ The 3rd session covers management of school life records and writing self-introduction letters ▲ The final 4th session covers regular admission.
The application period is until July 5, and 30 participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. The tuition is completely free, and those who complete all four sessions will receive a certificate of completion for the College Admission Academy course.
Parents wishing to enroll (residents of Yeongdeungpo-gu or parents of high school students in the area) can apply by phone to the Yeongdeungpo College Admission Information Center or through the banner link posted on the center’s website.
Meanwhile, the Yeongdeungpo College Admission Information Center has been continuously operating admission briefings for learning motivation and customized strategy establishment, special lectures on study methods, and one-on-one individual counseling.
In particular, the center provides 'online consulting' through its website and 'visiting career and admission consulting' where counselors visit schools directly, supporting students and parents to receive admission counseling safely and comfortably even during the COVID-19 situation.
The programs of the College Admission Information Center are available to any high school students and parents residing in Yeongdeungpo-gu, and applications can be made through the center’s website.
