Korea Women Venture Association Appoints O Seheon as New Full-time Vice President
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Women Venture Association (President Kim Bun-hee) announced that Oh Se-heon has taken office as the new full-time vice president as of the 1st. Vice President Oh earned a Ph.D. in Engineering from Chungnam National University and previously served as spokesperson for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. He has held positions such as Director of the Small Service Enterprises Division at the Small and Medium Business Administration, Director of the Regulatory Impact Assessment Division, Director of the Technology Cooperation Protection Division, Director of the Startup Growth Support Division at the Gyeonggi Regional Office, and full-time vice president of the Korea Venture Capital Association.

Vice President Oh will oversee the association's secretariat operations and is expected to work closely with the industry to establish a growth foundation for women-led ventures and strengthen the competitiveness of women venture companies, while building a broad external cooperation network. Vice President Oh expressed his inauguration aspirations, saying, "Based on the insights and networks I have accumulated through my public service career and experience in the venture industry, I will strive to elevate the status of the association as the representative organization of women venture companies," and added, "I will also faithfully serve as a bridge between the industry and the government by proposing policies to support the growth of women venture companies and resolve management difficulties."
