Seven Eleven, Love Blood Donation Campaign... "Practicing Neighborly Love for 14 Years"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Seven Eleven announced on the 30th that it will conduct the 'Love Blood Donation Campaign,' involving employees and executives, in collaboration with the Korean Red Cross until the 7th of next month. The Seven Eleven Love Blood Donation Campaign is a representative social contribution activity of 'Angel7,' aimed at creating social value as part of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management activities.
Seven Eleven's blood donation campaign first started in 2008 and has been continuously carried out for 14 years. It is held once or twice a year, with a cumulative participation of about 700 people. Especially since last year, as the number of blood donors sharply decreased due to COVID-19, participation has been increasing to help alleviate the blood supply shortage and to practice sharing life.
The blood donation certificates collected through the Love Blood Donation Campaign will be donated to the Korean Red Cross and used to support the treatment of patients urgently in need of blood supply.
