[Photo] National Health Insurance Service Yongsan Branch Delivers Sharing Box to Yongsan-gu Childcare Support Center
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] The Yongsan Branch of the National Health Insurance Service (Branch Manager Son Geun-ho) delivered 30 boxes of the ‘Geonigangi Sharing Box’ (worth 3 million KRW) to the Yongsan-gu Childcare Comprehensive Support Center (Center Director Choi Kyung-sun) on the 28th.
This is to support childcare for low-income vulnerable groups and families with infants and young children in the area.
The boxes contained essential childcare items such as gauze towels (3), baby tableware (1), wet wipes (10), body lotion (1), shampoo & bath (1), and blankets (1).
The center plans to distribute the donated items to families participating in self-help groups and others.
Choi Kyung-sun, Director of the Yongsan-gu Childcare Comprehensive Support Center, said, “We are grateful to the National Health Insurance Service Yongsan Branch for practicing sharing during these difficult times,” and added, “The center will also do its best to reduce the childcare burden on residents.”
The Yongsan-gu Childcare Comprehensive Support Center is a demand-oriented customized childcare service institution located on the 2nd floor of the main building of Dream Tree Complex (329 Baekbeom-ro). It is equipped with Dream Tree Playground (toddler experience room), Baby Flower Playground (infant experience room), Baby Rest Area (nursing room), Kiwoomter (parent self-help group space), Jaramter (childcare support program space), computer training room, counseling and therapy rooms, reference room, and education room. It is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 4:50 p.m. on weekends.
