[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] Jeonnam Gwangyang Central Library announced on the 29th that the adult cultural programs operated in the first half of the year were completed successfully, gaining great popularity among citizens.
The programs operated during the first half included ▲Traditional Games Instructor Course Level 1 ▲Professional Organizer Course Level 2 ▲Basic Chinese Conversation Class ▲Used Book Art.
From February, 81 people applied for the four courses held over 18 sessions in the first half adult cultural programs, and 50 of them completed the courses.
In particular, the Traditional Games Instructor Course and the Professional Organizer Course attracted significant interest from citizens, with inquiries continuing even after registration closed. During the library week in April, works created by students of the Used Book Art course were exhibited, drawing attention.
The Central Library strictly adhered to COVID-19 prevention measures such as disinfecting and ventilating classrooms, QR code verification, hand sanitizing, and mask-wearing while operating the programs. Some programs were converted to non-face-to-face formats to ensure citizen safety and convenience.
