Hampyeong-gun, Shared Property Usage Fee Reduction for Small Business Owners Affected by COVID-19
[Hampyeong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Hampyeong County has once again undertaken the reduction of public property usage and lease fees this year, following last year, to support small business owners and others affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
On the 29th, according to the county, to minimize damage caused by the spread of COVID-19 and stabilize the local economy, usage and lease fees for county-owned land and buildings will be reduced in accordance with the Enforcement Decree of the Act on the Management of Public Property and Goods.
To this end, on the 25th, the Public Property Deliberation Committee (Chairman Go Dongsuk) held a meeting and confirmed the reduction of rental fees for a total of 8 cases, including 200-19 Seokseong-ri, Hampyeong-eup (former Seokseong Elementary School), amounting to approximately 25 million KRW.
The existing usage and lease rates of 2~8% applied to county-owned buildings or land leased for commercial purposes will be temporarily changed to rates of 1~2%, providing up to an 80% reduction benefit.
However, cases related to farming use with the minimum rate of 1%, large corporations, residential use, and those not affected by COVID-19 are excluded.
