Sacheon City Recruits 1,000 Volunteers for the '2021 Sacheon Air Show'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Sacheon City, Gyeongnam Province, is recruiting 1,000 volunteers to participate in the '2021 Sacheon Airshow' from June 28 to July 30.
The recruitment fields include seven areas such as event operation support, venue guidance, convenience facility operation, and shuttle bus boarding guidance. Volunteers must be high school students or older with a strong spirit of volunteerism as of the application date, and applications are being accepted through the 1365 Volunteer Portal.
The final selection of volunteers will be notified in early September via the Sacheon Airshow website and individual SMS, and work locations will be assigned considering the convenience and accessibility of the volunteers.
Volunteers will be recognized for up to 8 hours of volunteer work per day, receive actual expense support (transportation fee of 20,000 KRW per day), provided lunch, accident insurance, hats, vests, and a small souvenir. Outstanding volunteers during the volunteer period will also be awarded a commendation from the Mayor of Sacheon.

Meanwhile, the 2021 Sacheon Airshow will be held for four days from October 28 at Sacheon Airfield, Sacheon Sports Complex, and Sacheon Culture and Arts Center, co-hosted by the Republic of Korea Air Force (3rd Training Flight Group), Gyeongsangnam-do Province, Sacheon City, and Korea Aerospace Industries.
