Paris Croissant will voluntarily practice energy saving and greenhouse gas emission reduction, and actively engage in public promotion of carbon neutrality together with the government.
Paris Croissant will carry out the ‘Appropriate Temperature Campaign’ at over 4,000 affiliated brand stores nationwide, including Paris Baguette and Pascucci, and plans to gradually introduce LED lighting replacement and high-efficiency energy products. In addition, the company will actively promote the campaign through cash registers and digital menu boards in stores to lead efforts to raise social interest in energy saving and carbon neutrality.
They also plan to conduct a ‘Reducing Carbon Footprint in Daily Life Campaign’ (a neologism referring to the total amount of carbon dioxide generated by all human activities) together with employees. Various activities will be carried out, including plogging (an exercise combining jogging and picking up trash) involving both employees and store staff, encouraging the use of personal tumblers and cups in offices, and campaigns to reduce leftover food in company cafeterias.
A Paris Croissant official said, "As part of ESG management, we have joined social efforts for energy saving,” and added, “We will continue to strive to fulfill our social responsibility and practice environmental protection for future generations.”
