Lotte Offers Free Admission to Lotte World for Military Personnel... Annual Prize for 100 Family Members

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Lotte announced on the 29th that it has carried out various support projects to express gratitude to active-duty soldiers and military families in honor of the Month of Patriots and Veterans.
Lotte Holdings, Lotte Confectionery, and Korea Seven delivered snack boxes worth a total of 55 million KRW to about 2,000 soldiers dedicated to quarantine support, vaccine transportation, and temporary screening clinics to overcome COVID-19. The snack boxes included products from Lotte Confectionery's snack vending machines and beverages.
Lotte Holdings also supports the Proud Army Family Award newly established this year by the Army Headquarters. They plan to select 100 spouses of soldiers and military personnel who have worked diligently annually and provide prize money and gifts.
Since this month, Lotte World has been offering free admission to Lotte World Adventure for soldiers holding leave passes for the next year. Active-duty officers, military personnel, cadets, officer candidates, ROTC members, and their companions can receive a 50% discount.

Lotte Cultureworks has been providing discount benefits on Lotte Cinema tickets and combo sets to active-duty soldiers, first- and second-year reservists, and military personnel since 2013. The Lotte Scholarship Foundation has been supporting scholarships worth 200 million KRW this year to about 100 children of injured or deceased soldiers who are middle school, high school, or university students. Scholarships are awarded twice a year, in March and September.
