On the 27th, the county announced that it will conduct special surveillance and crackdowns on environmental pollution activities during the summer to block the direct inflow of pollutants into public water bodies, such as illegal discharge of pollutants taking advantage of heavy rains during the monsoon season.
Before the crackdown, the county will carry out advance publicity and guidance activities targeting pollutant-emitting businesses in areas at risk of pollution until the end of this month.
To this end, the county plans to form and operate a special surveillance team to intensively monitor and crack down on environmental pollution activities, such as illegal discharge of wastewater and waste stored, abandoned, or processed within business sites, from July through early August.
