Two Mapo Police Officers Confirmed COVID-19 Positive After First Vaccine Dose
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Two police officers belonging to the Mapo Police Station in Seoul tested positive for COVID-19 after receiving their first dose of the vaccine.
According to the police on the 25th, Officer A, a sergeant at Mapo Station, was classified as a close contact of a confirmed case and underwent a COVID-19 test at a health center the previous day, resulting in a positive diagnosis. Sergeant B, who works in the same office as Officer A, also tested positive.
It was confirmed that Officer A and Sergeant B each received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in June and April respectively, but had not received their second dose.
