[Asia Economy Reporter Haeyoung Kwon] The large-scale discount promotional event in the fashion industry, 'Korea Fashion Market Season 3,' will be held both online and offline from the 25th to the 1st of next month.
Korea Fashion Market is an event aimed at overcoming the crisis faced by the fashion industry due to the recent prolonged economic recession and COVID-19, and it was held twice last year.
Season 3, held in conjunction with the 'Korea Together Sale,' involves offline retailers such as Lotte Department Store, Shinsegae Department Store, Hyundai Department Store (Hyundai Department Store Mall), and domestic online fashion platforms including Naver, Musinsa, and W Concept.
These companies will offer up to 90% discounts on 241 fashion brands covering women's wear, men's wear, casual, and outdoor categories at 14 stores and online.
The opening ceremony held at Lotte Department Store Jamsil branch was attended by Park Jin-gyu, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy; Han Jun-seok, Chairman of the Korea Fashion Industry Association; Lee Sang-woon, Vice Chairman of the Korea Federation of Textile Industries; Hwang Beom-seok, CEO of Lotte Shopping Department Store Division; and Lee Eun-cheol, CEO of W Concept Korea.
Along with the opening ceremony, a special broadcast featuring Vice Minister Park directly participating in product sales was scheduled on '100live,' a live commerce channel within Lotte Department Store Mall.
