This new collection features the iconic Forerpasju ?caille pattern, woven using a jacquard technique with multiple colored threads at 23,000 stitches per square centimeter. The ?caille (scale) pattern is a modern reinterpretation of the scale designs originally derived from actual firearms and armor patterns, which is the signature motif of Forerpasju.
Instead of the traditional silk-screen printing method on waterproofed cotton canvas, the jacquard technique applied in this new collection was developed through two years of research with jacquard workshops, allowing the Forerpasju ?caille pattern to be expressed more luxuriously and perfectly.
