TenMinds Signs Sharing Agreement with Seoul City in 2020 and Selected as a Social Contribution Recognized Company by the Ministry of Health and Welfare
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] On the 24th, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that it will hold a donation ceremony for massage devices and other items for senior welfare centers at Seoul City Hall, together with Tenminds, the Seoul Social Welfare Council, and the Seoul Senior Welfare Center Association.
Attending the ceremony are Kim Seon-soon, Director of Welfare Policy at Seoul City, Jang Seung-woong, CEO of Tenminds, Kim Hyun-hoon, Chairman of the Seoul Social Welfare Council, and Lee Eun-joo, Chairman of the Seoul Senior Welfare Center Association.
Tenminds has been practicing corporate social responsibility through activities such as the ‘1월 1HUG Project’ and the ‘Happy Gyeongridan-gil Project’ in its home district of Yongsan-gu, and was selected as a ‘Social Contribution Recognized Company’ by the Ministry of Health and Welfare last year.
Expanding its social contribution activities throughout Seoul starting this year, Tenminds will donate 10 of its massage devices and items worth 1.4 million KRW needed by each facility to 13 senior welfare centers within Seoul through this event.
This donation is based on a sharing agreement signed in 2020 among Seoul City, Tenminds, and the Seoul Social Welfare Council during the ‘Social Contribution Week’.
Jang Seung-woong, CEO of Tenminds, said, “We hope that the elderly, who have been exhausted by COVID-19, will find healing by using the massage devices,” and added, “We will continue to seek places in society that need help and practice sharing.”
