‘Saving Mokpo Small Business Owners’ Operation of the God’s Business Strategy Academy
Applications Open for Small Business Owners Until the 2nd of Next Month
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seung-hyun Jeong] Mokpo City, Jeonnam announced on the 23rd that it will operate the 2nd session of the ‘God’s Business Strategy Academy’ to support small business owners' flexible response to market trends.
The city invited Mr. Kim Yoo-jin, known as the ‘Korean-style God of Business,’ as an instructor to conduct this academy for 8 weeks starting from the 27th of next month at Hadang Youth Culture Center.
Eligibility for support is small business owners who have been operating for more than 6 months with their resident registration and business location in Mokpo City as of the announcement date (21st). The city will select 30 small business owners with strong will for business improvement and growth through a final interview.
Applications are accepted until the 2nd of next month and can be submitted via email, mail, or in person. Detailed information about the program can be found in the notices and public announcements on the city’s website.
The ‘God’s Business Strategy Academy,’ held for the first time last year, was conducted with enthusiastic participation from small business owners and led to effects such as increased sales. In a survey conducted by the city, 97% responded that they were very satisfied, and 78% of the attendees reported an increase in sales.

A city official stated, “We expect that this academy, held in a situation where the economy is depressed due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, will greatly help improve the management capabilities of small business owners.”
