Masa 1-gu Village is nicknamed the "Treasure Hunt Village" because sculptures, murals, spatial designs, observatories, and video media are scattered like treasures throughout the village, offering many sights to see.
The city invested 300 million KRW from the resident participation budget to plant 4,000 trees including Ipap trees, King Cherry trees, Thorn trees, Azaleas, and Red Holly on 4,400㎡ (1,331 pyeong) around Masa-ri 1249-1, and installed rest facilities such as pavilions, shade shelters, benches, and platforms, as well as a lawn plaza and exercise equipment.
Since residents participated in the budget allocation process, their opinions were reflected as much as possible to create a forest and park to pass on to future generations, realizing carbon neutrality and providing a resting space.
Being close to the local representative tourist spots, Saengnim Auto Camping Site and Nakdonggang Rail Park, it is also expected to serve as a new tourism resource for the region.
