VTGMP, MBC Plus-Starforce Joint Beauty Brand 'D-6' Launch
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] VT GMP's cosmetics business brand VT Cosmetic announced on the 23rd that it has signed a joint business agreement with MBC Plus and Starforce to foster the joint beauty brand ‘D-6’ and launch an attack on the global beauty market.
VT Cosmetic's strategy is to increase market share in the beauty markets of the Americas, Asia, and Europe through close collaboration with MBC Plus, which is spreading K-cultural content worldwide, and Starforce, a global marketing specialist company.
In particular, the three companies (VT Cosmetic, MBC Plus, Starforce) will enhance expertise and efficiency by jointly establishing a one-stop global commerce business chain that covers planning, marketing, and distribution of beauty products.
MBC Plus is growing online marketing channels targeting overseas markets based on its TV and content production capabilities, including the YouTube channel ‘All The K-Pop’ with 7 million subscribers and the idol voting app ‘Idol Champ’ targeting teenagers and people in their twenties.
Starforce is a marketing specialist company for Wanghong marketing in China using Korean cosmetic brands, recently expanding its business area based on online and social distribution sales platform networks such as Tmall, Tencent, and Xiaohongshu (China's Instagram).
Meanwhile, VT Cosmetic exports its beauty products to consumers in 26 countries including Japan and China, and is a representative K-beauty company, achieving first place in the overall sales ranking on Japan's largest open market platform Qoo10 Japan.
