Dongwon F&B Launches 'Boseong Hongcha Iced Tea Zero'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Dongwon F&B announced on the 23rd that it has launched two types of zero-calorie (0kcal) beverages, 'Boseong Hongcha Iced Tea Zero.'
'Boseong Hongcha Iced Tea Zero' is a 500mL beverage with 0kcal, allowing consumers to enjoy it without any burden. It is a tea beverage that captures the subtle flavor of Boseong mountain black tea and the refreshing taste of fruit.
'Boseong Hongcha Iced Tea Zero' is made by fermenting green tea leaves grown in the green tea fields of Jeonnam Boseong, a green tea specialty area, into black tea leaves. The green tea leaves, which have passed organic standards in Korea, the United States, Japan, and Europe, are brewed using a cold brew extraction method, preserving the smoothness and fragrant flavor without the typical astringent and bitter taste of green tea. Additionally, it is produced using Dongwon Group's aseptic filling method, allowing consumers to enjoy the original taste and refreshing flavor of black tea. The aseptic filling method involves filling sterilized beverages into PET bottles in a sterile facility where external bacteria cannot enter. Since there is no heat treatment process for sterilization, it maximizes the retention of nutrients in the raw materials while preserving their unique taste and aroma. The price is 2,200 KRW.
