"Thankful for 30 Years Together with the University..." Professor Go Hyun-sook of Silla University Donates 10 Million Won to University Development Fund

Professor Ko Hyun-sook of the Department of Life Sciences at Silla University (President Kim Chung-seok) generously donated 10 million won to the university development fund.
On the morning of the 22nd at 10 a.m., Professor Ko handed over the development fund to President Kim Chung-seok in the President’s Reception Room at the Silla University 60th Anniversary Hall.
Since 1990, Professor Ko has been serving as a professor in the Department of Life Sciences at Silla University, contributing to the advancement of marine zoology through active research activities, publishing over 100 research papers domestically and internationally.
Professor Ko said, “I hope this will help improve the studies and research of my students.”
The Department of Life Sciences at Silla University, where Professor Ko has worked for over 30 years, will be renamed the Department of Companion Animal Science.

In response to the increase in companion animal ownership and the growth of the Pet+Economy market, the department will be reorganized into the Department of Companion Animal Science to cultivate specialized experts, and will begin recruiting new students from the 2022 academic year.
