Linos Secures Additional Contract for Police Disaster Network Terminal Project
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Rinos, which secured references by winning major contracts in disaster safety communication network construction and terminal purchase projects for police and fire departments, has additionally won related projects.
Rinos announced on the 22nd that the KT consortium signed a contract worth 75.9 billion KRW for the police's "Phase 3 construction of a wireless system for security work to transition the disaster safety network." Rinos' contract amount is 22.7 billion KRW.
Rinos will deliver and install terminals to the National Police Agency in Seoul, southern Gyeonggi, northern Gyeonggi, and Incheon by December. By additionally supplying multipurpose wired and wireless terminals applying the open OS 'Gureum,' which has been introduced since 2019 and is currently in pilot operation, it will be able to respond to the government's policy to expand domestic OS usage.
