Blueberry Harvest Experience Available for Only 4 Days Considering Customer Safety
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Chuncheon Jade Garden Arboretum, operated by Hanwha Hotels & Resorts, announced on the 22nd that it will hold an 'Organic Blueberry Farm Experience' starting from the 26th. The blueberry harvest experience at Jade Garden has been held for 7 years since 2015. Due to the short season of blueberries, the program is popular among visitors during the event period.
Recently, with the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, 'healing agriculture'?which involves enjoying forest bathing in fresh air or visiting rural areas to experience agricultural programs?has become popular. As part of healing agriculture, the number of customers participating in the Jade Garden blueberry harvest experience has increased by more than 50% compared to before COVID-19 (2019).
The organic blueberry harvest experience, grown directly at Jade Garden, limits participation to a maximum of 10 teams per time slot to comply with COVID-19 prevention guidelines. Applications can be made on-site on June 26 and 27, and July 3 and 4. The participation fee is 10,000 KRW per person, and each participant can harvest 300g of blueberries. Admission to Jade Garden is separate, and the schedule may change depending on the blueberry yield and weather conditions.
