In May, ADT Caps signed a business contract with the Ministry of Health and Welfare to establish an 'Emergency Safety Assurance Service' for single elderly households and is working on building an Internet of Things (IoT) care service system. Utilizing various IoT sensors, it monitors fire and entry detection as well as the user's activity such as heart rate, breathing, and sleep, automatically detecting abnormalities and providing an automatic 119 emergency call function in critical situations.
Through this agreement, ADT Caps will receive advice on elderly health and care from the Korea Senior Citizens Association to advance the emergency safety assurance service and accelerate the planning and development of new senior care business projects. The Korea Senior Citizens Association plans to actively provide ADT Caps' senior safety and care services to elderly people in care blind spots to strengthen their daily safety.
