[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] KB Kookmin Card announced on the 21st that it has signed the industry's first official marketing partnership agreement in the card sector with the global theme park 'Legoland Korea Resort.'
As the official marketing partner, KB Kookmin Card plans to carry out various marketing activities related to Legoland Korea Resort, including ▲the industry's first launch of a private label credit card (PLCC) with specialized benefits ▲20% discount on admission tickets for all KB Kookmin Card members ▲brand promotion using internal and external resort channels such as admission tickets, maps, and signboards ▲and the KB Kookmin Card 4D Theatre.
Additionally, based on big data analysis of resort user characteristics and card payment data, customized marketing activities will be conducted for each customer in the future. Using the KB Kookmin Card platform, various convenience services related to mobile admission ticket purchase and payment, as well as the use of facilities within the resort, will also be introduced.
Legoland Korea Resort, making its debut in Korea, is scheduled to open next year in Jungdo, Chuncheon, as the third in Asia following Malaysia and Japan. With seven Lego themes, more than 40 rides and attractions, a hotel with 154 rooms, and two cinemas, it is the largest in Asia and expects over 2 million visitors annually.
