Air Seoul "Enjoy Home Shopping Onboard"
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Air Seoul announced on the 18th that it has signed a business partnership agreement with NS Home Shopping and will start in-flight home shopping services. This is the first time a domestic airline has offered home shopping services onboard.
Under this agreement, starting from the 22nd of this month, Air Seoul will place NS Home Shopping’s shopping catalogs onboard all domestic routes including Gimpo~Jeju, Gimpo~Busan (Gimhae), and Busan~Jeju, allowing passengers to enjoy in-flight home shopping and receive special additional discounts.
The in-flight home shopping will feature a total of about 250 products including food, living goods, and fashion. Passengers can check the items they wish to purchase in the shopping catalog and place orders via the NS Home Shopping customer center or KakaoTalk, then receive the products at their desired location.
Air Seoul and NS Home Shopping also plan to introduce the ‘Baro Dream Service’ in the future, which allows passengers to order and receive products directly onboard.
