In Suncheon, Jeonnam, 4 Dead and 3 Injured in Collision Between Passenger Car and Van

According to the Suncheon Police Station in Jeonnam on the 18th, at 4:02 a.m. that day, a K7 passenger car driven by A (22) crossed the center line and collided with a Carnival van driven by B (54) coming from the opposite direction on a road in Yongdang-dong, Suncheon. Among the six people in their early 20s (three men and three women) in the passenger car, four passengers in the back seat (one man and three women) died.
The driver A and the front seat passenger of the passenger car sustained serious injuries, and the van driver B was also injured and taken to the hospital.
The accident occurred near an intersection where a yellow flashing light was on in the early morning.
The speed limit on this road was 50 km/h, and it had been raining from the day before until the time of the accident.
The police took blood samples from both drivers to measure their blood alcohol concentration.
