Yeonggwang-gun Operates 'Happiness Dream Bus' for Seniors
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seong-jeong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Jun-seong) announced on the 17th that since March, it has been operating the Yeonggwang Happiness Dream Bus by visiting senior centers targeting elderly people exhausted from COVID-19.
The Happiness Dream Bus operates more than five times a week and complies with quarantine rules such as hand sanitization before and after education, wearing masks, and temperature checks due to COVID-19.
The main contents include ▲satisfying residents' medical needs ▲providing opportunities for cultural activities ▲promoting psychological and emotional stability ▲relieving stress, etc.
So far, the county has reduced fear of vaccination by educating more than 1,020 elderly people at 71 locations on COVID-19 prevention rules and vaccination precautions, and is striving to provide small happiness by offering health packages.
