Gimhae-si Signs Business Agreement Between Local Facilities for Independent Living of People with Mental Disabilities
Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province, has signed a business agreement with mental health-related organizations.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City in Gyeongnam and the Gimhae City Mental Health Welfare Center announced on the 17th that they have signed a business agreement with the Gyeongnam Mental Disability Independent Living Center, Gimhae West Disabled Independent Living Center, Jinyeong Disabled Independent Living Center, and Gimhae West Disabled Human Rights Center.
Through this agreement, each organization will support counseling to promote the rights and protect the human rights of people with mental disabilities, strengthen mutual cooperation in linking to the Mental Health Welfare Center when problems are identified in the subjects, and provide information related to mental health issues.
Director Lee Ji-woong said, “We will actively utilize the resources of each organization to help people with mental disabilities return to the community and maintain daily life after inpatient treatment for the improvement of acute psychiatric symptoms.”
