Hanwha Life Donates Treatment Costs for Leukemia and Pediatric Cancer Patients with VIP Customers
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Hanwha Life announced on the 17th that it has donated 10.02 million KRW to VIP customers and the Korea Leukemia Pediatric Cancer Association.
The donation was raised through the 'Hanwha Life VIP Members Donation' program. This system allows customers selected as VIPs by Hanwha Life to choose to donate an amount equivalent to the gift they would have received.
Hanwha Life selects VIP customers annually based on factors such as insurance premiums paid on held contracts over the past 10 years and provides various benefits. This year, 34 customers chose to donate a total of 3.34 million KRW instead of receiving benefits. Hanwha Life and its employees also participated in the donation with the same amount.
Hanwha Life introduced the VIP Members Donation system in 2014, and the cumulative number of customers participating in donations has reached 580, with the total donated amount reaching 110 million KRW.
This donation will be delivered to two patients battling leukemia and pediatric cancer, as recommended by the Leukemia Pediatric Cancer Association.
