Lotte Hotel Seoul "Cold Noodles Back to Enjoy According to Your Taste"
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Lotte Hotel Seoul announced on the 17th that its Korean restaurant Mugunghwa and Chinese restaurant Dorim will offer summer delicacies "Naengmyeon Bansang" and "Chinese-style Naengmyeon" until August 31.
Upgraded from last year's debut, Mugunghwa's "Naengmyeon Bansang" features a broth made by simmering beef bone, brisket, and Jangdak chicken in an ideal blend and timing. It is seasoned with master soy sauce made from aromatic herbs and fruits, and sun-dried salt, boasting a deep and clean taste. The handmade noodles are made from Bongpyeong buckwheat, giving them a chewy texture. Toppings that enhance the flavor of the naengmyeon include dongchimi radish water kimchi, cucumber, and pear. In addition, snacks such as burdock gangjeong and cold conch salad are included, and this year, Eonyang Bulgogi, which harmonizes with Pyongyang-style naengmyeon, has been added. The price is 90,000 KRW (including tax and service charge).
The hotel stated, "Compared to the same period last year, the reservation rate for Naengmyeon Bansang has increased by more than 20%," adding, "Repeat customers and inquiries from younger generations have noticeably increased, making Naengmyeon Bansang a representative summer menu at Mugunghwa."

It is flavored with black vinegar, effective for relieving stomach discomfort, and seafood soy sauce that provides natural umami. The broth is portioned into single servings, frozen, and used as shaved ice. Toppings include abalone, shrimp, five-spice pork, duck egg, cucumber pickles, sea cucumber strips, and egg garnish, which are good for revitalization during summer. The price is 40,000 KRW (including tax and service charge).
