The Bank of Korea Hosts the 'Currency Love UCC Contest'
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunbyeol Kim] The Bank of Korea announced that it will hold a 'Love for Currency UCC (User Created Content) Contest' for youth (ages 9 to 24) to raise awareness about counterfeit currency and emphasize the importance of proper currency use.
Individuals or teams (up to 4 members) participating in the contest can submit either a video or a webtoon on the Bank of Korea website from the 28th of this month to August 27th. Participants can choose one of the following themes: ▲Prevention of counterfeit currency circulation ▲Using money cleanly ▲Reusing coins ▲Ensuring the right to choose cash usage.

The selection committee will evaluate the submissions based on relevance to the theme, originality, and completeness to select outstanding works. Awards and prize money will be presented under the name of the Bank of Korea Governor in October. The winning entries will also be posted on the Bank of Korea website.
