President Putin Departs for Geneva, Venue of Russia-US Summit
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghoon Jung] Russian President Vladimir Putin departed for Geneva, Switzerland, on the morning of the 16th (Moscow time), where a summit with U.S. President Joe Biden is scheduled.
According to major foreign media, Putin's official plane took off from Sochi, a resort city in southern Russia, at around 10:30 a.m. that day, heading to Geneva. The flight time from Sochi to Geneva is expected to be about 3 hours and 30 minutes.
President Biden arrived in Geneva the day before. The U.S.-Russia summit is scheduled to be held at 1:35 p.m. (local time) at the 'Villa La Grange' mansion in Geneva, Switzerland.
