Teenager Arrested for Hiding and Illegally Filming in Women's Restroom of Commercial Building
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] A teenage boy who was hiding in a women's restroom in a commercial building and illegally filming with a mobile phone was caught by the police.
On the 16th, the Gyeyang Police Station in Incheon announced that they have booked and are investigating a teenager identified as A on charges of filming using a camera under the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes.
A is suspected of illegally filming a woman in her 20s, B, with a mobile phone in the women's restroom of a commercial building in Gyeyang-gu, Incheon, at around 11:30 PM on the 14th of this month.
The police responded to a report from B, who heard the filming sound, and apprehended A. It was found that A secretly hid in a restroom stall and committed the crime when B entered the adjacent stall.
