Gimhae City Completes Development of Imho Park Plaza District, a Long-Awaited Resident Project
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City in Gyeongnam announced on the 16th that it has completed the Imho Park Plaza District Development Project.
The city invested about 6 billion KRW to develop an area of 21,203㎡ around Oedong 438, installing two multipurpose fields, a playground for children, a grass plaza, a zipline, walking trails, a hydrangea garden, a cityscape observatory, and outdoor exercise equipment.
The park is located near a densely populated apartment area, so many residents are expected to use it in connection with the Imhosan hiking trail. It is also close to Bongmyeong Middle School, making it a space for students' outdoor learning and physical activities.
Although the facility construction was completed this month, the opening of the access road has been delayed, so the full opening is expected after July.
Some facilities such as the children's playground, walking trails, and multipurpose fields will be available for normal use from the end of this month.
