Hansol Home Deco Launches Eco-Friendly Insulation Product 'PF Board'
[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] Interior materials company Hansol Home Deco announced on the 16th that it has launched a construction insulation product called 'PF Board.'
Hansol Home Deco's PF Board is an insulation material that prevents heat loss from building walls and roofs, enhancing the building's energy efficiency. Although it has a thinner thickness compared to other insulation materials, it offers 20% better insulation performance than polyurethane and more than twice the insulation effect compared to Styrofoam. The company explains that it is a product that can effectively respond to building energy efficiency rating systems, which measure the total energy consumption of a building and provide incentives.
It also has fire safety features. PF Board is not easily flammable and does not emit toxic gases during a fire, having obtained a quasi-noncombustible certification from the Korea Chemical Convergence Testing Institute. Additionally, the foaming gas used during production is an eco-friendly gas rather than chlorofluorocarbon (CFC), which causes environmental pollution, thereby reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions during the manufacturing process.
