Namwon-si Establishes Two New 'Community Service Investment Projects'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Young-kwon] Namwon City, Jeonbuk Province, announced on the 15th that it will establish two new services under the ‘Community Service Investment Project’ in the second half of this year to improve the quality of life for local residents.
The Community Service Investment Project is a program that discovers social services tailored to regional characteristics and resident demands, provides social service vouchers to users, offers social services such as counseling, treatment, and capacity building to local residents, and contributes to job creation for service providers and residents.
The city will promote ‘EYE1004 Health Knock Service’ and ‘Sports Activity Health Management Service’ as new services in the second half of the year.
The EYE1004 Health Knock Service is provided by visually impaired masseurs offering massage and acupressure services, and is currently recruiting new users until the 25th.
The Sports Activity Health Management Service supports healthy growth by improving the physical condition of obese or frail children through health education and exercise guidance. Professional sports instructors will conduct the service in the second half of the year.
