[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Jung Won-oh, Mayor of Seongdong-gu, attended the expansion and relocation ceremony of the Seongdong Disabled Family Support Center located in Seongsu-dong on the afternoon of the 14th.
The Seongdong Disabled Family Support Center opened in 2018 and has been promoting projects such as the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s Severe Disability Irum Account Project entrusted operation and the rehabilitation counseling project "Mind ON" pilot project to secure the overall rights of people with disabilities and their families.
This month, the Seongdong Disabled Family Support Center relocated and expanded to Ttukseom Station. Going forward, it plans to address caregiving issues for families of people with disabilities and provide various support, including the distribution of "Smart Insol" to prevent missing persons among the target group.
