Sasaehaeng Files Additional Complaint Against Yoon Seok-yeol for 'Han Dong-hoon Investigation Obstruction' at the Corruption Investigation Office

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyung-min] The Citizens' Action for Judicial Justice (Sasaehaeng) has additionally filed a complaint against former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol on charges of obstructing inspection and investigation related to Prosecutor Han Dong-hoon (abuse of authority and obstruction of the exercise of rights).
On the 14th, Kim Han-me, the representative of Sasaehaeng, held a press conference in front of the Government Complex Gwacheon and claimed, "Former Prosecutor General Yoon deliberately obstructed the legitimate inspection duties of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office Inspection Department and unjustly interfered with the investigation to protect his closest aide, Han Dong-hoon."
He added, "Former Prosecutor General Yoon willfully neglected his duty as a prosecutor by intentionally failing to exercise his authority to direct the investigation into Han's alleged conspiracy to attempt coercion."
Representative Kim stated, "Today marks the tenth time we have filed a complaint against former Prosecutor General Yoon with the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials (CIO)," and announced plans to also file complaints regarding suspicions of a botched bribery investigation involving former Yongsan Tax Office chief Yoon Woo-jin and allegations surrounding Yoon's wife, Kim Gun-hee.
