Haman-gun Conducts On-site Inspection of Landslide-prone Areas in Preparation for Rainy Season
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] On the 14th, Haman-gun, Gyeongnam announced that it will conduct on-site inspections of landslide-prone areas to respond to summer forest disasters.
During this inspection, from the 14th to the 23rd, 88 locations designated as landslide-prone areas within the jurisdiction will be checked for risks such as stream debris accumulation and slope collapse.
In addition, a landslide site prevention team will be operated to remove driftwood around landslide-prone areas and maintain signboards.
Last year, the county completed the landslide restoration work early due to damage from Typhoon Haishen, and this year, construction was completed before the rainy season at five erosion control project sites.
