Busan's First '15-Minute City' Tour Begins... Mayor Park Hyung-joon Communicates with Citizens and Shares Vision at Saha-gu 'Happiness Talk'
Announcement of Policy Directions for the Development of the Dadae Incineration Plant Site
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] A tour promoting Busan as a "15-minute city," organized around a local service-based urban area where public services such as Jangbogo Medical Center are accessible within a 15-minute walk, has begun.
Busan City (Mayor Park Hyung-jun) will hold the "15-minute City Busan Vision Tour in Saha" in Saha District starting at 2:40 PM on the 15th. This is the first tour.
Following Mayor Park Hyung-jun's proclamation of the "15-minute City Busan Vision" on May 26, Busan City announced that it is promoting the vision tour to explain the urban vision more closely to citizens, listen to the vivid voices of local residents, and reflect them in policies.
On the day, Mayor Park will personally visit the site of the long-unresolved Dadae Incineration Plant to announce development plans, then move to the Eulsukdo Western Busan Disabled Sports Center to continue a "Happiness Talk" with about 100 people including the Saha District 15-minute City Consensus Policy Group and local residents.
Busan City plans to continue the vision tours sequentially for the remaining 15 districts and counties, starting with Saha District.
