KOTRA Holds Online 'Promising Tech Companies M&A Listings Briefing'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] KOTRA announced on the 13th that it will hold an online 'Promising Tech Companies M&A Listings Briefing' for domestic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies interested in overseas mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
The briefing, scheduled for the 17th, will be conducted in three sessions: △ Post-COVID M&A promising industries △ Introduction of promising tech company listings and distressed companies △ Southeast Asia market entry strategies. M&A experts from the US and Europe, along with representatives from consulting firm PwC Singapore, will serve as speakers at the briefing.
KOTRA explained that this event was organized in response to increasing requests for support related to overseas M&A investment consultations in the advanced technology sector following Japan's semiconductor material export restrictions.
Jang Sanghyun, CEO of KOTRA Invest Korea, said, "In the post-COVID era, overseas M&A will be actively pursued for the sustainable growth of companies," adding, "We hope that this briefing will provide new opportunities for our SMEs and mid-sized companies to expand overseas."
