Wando Coast Guard Holds Photo Exhibition for Marine Environment Conservation Campaign
Commemorating Sea Day... Marine Environment Photo Exhibition at Wando Passenger Terminal
[Wando=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Kyung-pil] Wando Maritime Police Station (Chief An Seong-sik) recently announced on the 11th that it will hold a 'Marine Environment Photo Exhibition' at Wando Passenger Terminal to raise awareness of marine litter issues and encourage participation in marine environment conservation activities in celebration of the 26th Sea Day.
The photo exhibition is scheduled to be held for five days from the 14th to the 18th on the first floor of Wando Port Passenger Terminal in Wando-gun, where about 20 works related to raising awareness of marine environmental issues, maritime police pollution control activities, and promoting the importance of the marine environment will be displayed.

A Wando Maritime Police official stated, "Through the photo exhibition, we aim to inform the public about the precious value and meaning of the sea and to remind them of the necessity of protecting the marine environment," adding, "We hope many people will take an interest in the marine environment and actively participate in creating a clean and safe sea."
