Gwanak-gu Operates 'One-Stop Visit Civil Service Desk'... Single Visit Civil Complaints Reception and Issuance Processing
Construction Equipment Operator and Hunting License Automatic Issuance System, ONE-STOP Service from Surveying to Registration, etc.
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Jun-hee) operates a ‘One-Stop Visit Civil Service Desk’ that allows residents to complete permit-related tasks with a single visit for their convenience.
Permit-related tasks have been complex civil complaints, requiring residents to visit multiple departments several times to complete the procedures, causing inconvenience.
Accordingly, the district plans to alleviate residents’ inconvenience and improve civil service by operating a simplified system that handles some tasks in one department through a one-stop process, thereby reducing economic and physical time.
At the ‘Civil Affairs Passport Division,’ licenses such as construction machinery operator, hunting, beauty and hairdressing, and cook licenses are processed from document submission to license issuance all at once.
Among these, construction machinery operator and hunting licenses are issued immediately as PVC licenses with enhanced portability and durability, securing semi-permanent security by adopting an automatic license issuance system.
At the ‘Cadastral Division,’ in collaboration with LX Corporation (Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation), a ‘One-Stop Service from Survey to Registration’ is operated, allowing land transfer (division, registration conversion) applications involving cadastral surveys to be processed with a single visit.
At the ‘Traffic Administration Division Automobile Registration Civil Service Office,’ an insurance consultation desk has been installed for the insurance subscription procedures required for automobile registration, and a payment system is in place to allow related taxes such as acquisition and registration tax to be paid at once.
Additionally, a free service for attaching and detaching automobile license plates is provided for residents’ convenience.
Meanwhile, the district plans to expand the integrated closure reporting service for real estate brokerage businesses, currently operated in connection with the tax office, to other industries to simplify complex procedures, reduce residents’ number of visits, and increase civil service satisfaction.
