Gwangju Seo-gu and Psychological Health Research Institute Join Hands to Promote Mental Health of Public Officials
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Seo Dae-seok) announced on the 10th that it has signed a business agreement for the ‘Mind Care Project’ to restore the mental health and promote the psychological well-being of district office employees with the Institute of Psychological Health Research (Director Kim Seok-woong).
Seo-gu plans to help employees who are struggling not only with work-related stress due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic but also with feelings of depression, anxiety, and social withdrawal by implementing systematic programs through a professional institution to restore their mental health.
Through this agreement, the two organizations will cooperate to conduct mental health assessments and implement customized healing programs for all Seo-gu district office employees.
