On the same day, through social media (SNS), Hong said, "The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission conducted a full investigation of lawmakers' real estate and reportedly caught 12 Democratic Party lawmakers," adding, "If the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission showed such decisiveness, the opposition party now has no justification to refuse the commission."
He emphasized that the People Power Party, which requested an investigation from the Board of Audit and Inspection, must now also accept the commission's investigation.
Hong said, "Although I am still independent, I will submit the documents to undergo the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission's investigation today," and proposed, "Let all presidential candidates participate as well."
