Kakao Commerce Targets Corporate Gift Market
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Kakao Commerce is making a full-scale push into the business-to-business (B2B) gift market.
On the 10th, Kakao Commerce announced that it has expanded its product categories by introducing delivery products to 'Gift for Biz,' a gift platform for individual business owners and companies.
With this revamp, in addition to the existing 900 mobile vouchers, about 500 delivery gift products including health foods, living, beauty, and sports are now available.
Delivery products can be purchased starting from one item, and discounts of up to 50% are applied depending on the purchase quantity.
A refund policy has been implemented that returns the full product price to Biz Cash if the delivery address is not entered.
A function has also been added that allows businesses with KakaoTalk Business Channels to send gifts through their respective channels.

A Kakao Commerce official said, "By introducing delivery products, the range of gift options has expanded, which is expected to increase satisfaction for both buyers and recipients," and added, "We plan to add features that allow gifts to be sent more effectively, such as an event management tool that makes sending event prizes easier."
