On the 10th, Kim appeared on YTN Radio's "Hwang Bo-seon's Start of the Morning" and said, "They requested the investigation without verifying (the related materials) at all," adding, "I spoke with the responsible standing commissioner yesterday (the 9th) afternoon. I explained everything and clearly stated that the ACRC made a wrong decision and must reverse it. Even though additional materials came out and explanations were provided, if they continue not to reverse the decision, doesn't that mean the ACRC is failing to properly fulfill its role? I strongly protested this."
When the host asked what kind of response he received, Kim said, "I got an answer that they would consider it," adding, "If they say they made a wrong judgment because no additional materials were provided, now that sufficient materials have come out and misunderstandings have been cleared, they just need to send an official letter withdrawing the request for investigation. It's a very simple matter, so I believe the ACRC will do so."
He also revealed plans for legal action if things do not go well. Kim said, "Since the ACRC has unjustly caused an innocent person to suffer, I demanded that they cancel it. If not, I will have no choice but to take legal measures regarding that matter. I told this to the standing commissioner and also mentioned it at a press conference."
Kim plans to disclose the ACRC's request for investigation as well. He said, "I am thinking of holding another press conference today," adding, "We are planning to first open the contents of the investigation request made by the ACRC today. The actions taken by our party leadership were based on misunderstandings."

The ACRC raised suspicions of real estate name-trust involving Kim, but he stated, "I actually sold the Jamsil house I owned, transferred the registration, received the sale price, paid taxes, and sold the house to someone I do not know at all, but the ACRC is viewing it as if I did not sell the house, which is really absurd."
