Gyeongnam Province Promotes Regional Coexistence by Supporting Rural Village Community Restaurants
Promotion of Modernization of Shared Meal Facilities through Renovation and Equipment Support at 12 Locations in the Province
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 10th that it will support facility renovation and equipment for 12 rural village communal dining facilities through the 'Support Project for Operating Rural Village Community Restaurants.'
The support project for operating rural village community restaurants is designed to assist residents of small rural villages experiencing population decline and aging by enabling them to cook together.
The project targets village communal dining facilities capable of serving meals to 10 or more people daily and operating for at least 60 days annually.
Gyeongnam provides up to 30 million KRW per location for facility renovation and equipment purchase.
With manpower such as rural village women's associations preparing meals directly, the project contributes to improving dietary habits and reducing the financial burden on farmers.
