[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] Gyeongsan City announced on the 10th that it signed a business agreement with the Korea Student Aid Foundation (Chairman Lee Jung-woo) on the 9th to provide 'interest support for student loans of local university students.'
This project is a program that supports the interest accrued on student loans in 2021 for university students who received new student loans from the Korea Student Aid Foundation since 2020.
The support target is university students (currently enrolled or planning to return to school) who have been registered residents in Gyeongsan City for more than two years as of the announcement date of the student loan interest support. Applications will be accepted online through the Gyeongsan City website in November, and support will be provided in cooperation with the Korea Student Aid Foundation in December.
