Sacheon-si Accepting Applications for Returning Farmers' Startup and Housing Purchase Support Program Until the 9th of Next Month
Loan Support of 300 Million KRW for Agricultural Startups and 75 Million KRW for Home Purchase Funds
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Sacheon City, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 9th that it will accept applications for the return-to-farming agricultural startup and housing purchase support project for returnees and non-agricultural residents in rural villages until July 9.
The applicants must be household heads born on or after January 1, 1955, aged 65 or younger, who have lived for more than one year outside rural areas as of the moving-in date and have completed more than 100 hours of farming education related to return-to-farming. Non-agricultural residents living in rural areas with resident registration for more than one year and no farming experience can also apply.
Applicants wishing to apply should visit the Agricultural and Livestock Department's Human Resources Development Team at City Hall by the 9th of next month and submit the project application form, return-to-farming agricultural startup plan, and other necessary documents.
The final candidates will be selected by the Selection Review Committee through an in-depth evaluation, selecting those who score 60 points or higher in the review, in order of highest scores.
Agricultural startup funds are provided as loans up to 300 million KRW, and housing purchase funds up to 75 million KRW, with an annual interest rate of 2%, a 5-year grace period, and a 10-year installment repayment plan. The final loan amount will be determined based on the applicant's performance and the credit evaluation results by the lending institution.
