LGU+ Acquires 100 Billion KRW of Treasury Shares... Introduces Interim Dividends
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Soyeon] LG Uplus is acquiring treasury shares and introducing interim dividends to enhance shareholder value. On the 8th, LG Uplus announced that it decided to acquire treasury shares worth approximately 100 billion KRW to increase corporate value and strengthen shareholder return policies. This is the first time in LG Uplus's history that it has acquired treasury shares. In addition, LG Uplus will introduce 'interim dividends' for the first time starting this year. Shareholders will be able to receive interim dividends twice a year as well as year-end dividends.
